Cyber security isn’t a new phenomenon, but it’s getting more news time than ever before. The UK Government’s cyber security breach report for 2022 shows that 39% of businesses suffered a cyber security breach in the latest 12-month period, most commonly phishing attacks (83%) and 36% of those businesses report attacks being made weekly.
In June 2014 the government backed a scheme called ‘Cyber Essentials’ to help business protect themselves against the most common threats, the latest iteration of this specification called Evendine came into effect in January 2022. Two options are available, Basic and Plus, depending on your requirements.
