We recently used Vigo IT Solutions to upgrade our e-mail facilities, transferring from Imap hosting to Exchange. They also helped us to upgrade to Microsoft Office 365. From start to finish, the level of service we received was excellent. Staff arrived punctually (early, in fact) and ensured that the IT services work that had to be done was completed quickly, efficiently and with the minimum of disruption.
Afterwards, the support we received was excellent and our new systems are quicker, more reliable and help us to deliver a better quality service to our clients. We have used several IT service providers over the years but never encountered one that offers the level of knowledge, efficiency and customer service that Vigo IT Solutions provides.
The helpdesk are exactly that…helpful….and most issues are rectified immediately and remotely. Anything more in depth is escalated promptly and another technical engineer will provide answers or visit you.
Any strategic planning is dealt with by Kurt who is an expert that you quickly come to rely on.

While the work was completed was of exceptional standard, I

To say our IT in place at the time was useless is being
polite. When I first contacted Vigo I was stressed and
frustrated and didn’t know how to achieve what I knew
we needed from our IT. From the very first time I made
enquiries and spoke to the team, I feel we have had A*

We had been running our own servers on site since about 2011
through another IT Provider, but over the years it was
evident that the service we were being provided with
wasn’t what we were being invoiced for and
updates/patches were not being applied. The only time there
was any interest in our equipment was at contract renewal
time. Possibly, like many small business owners, when the IT
infrastructure works everything is fine, but when there is a
failure you realise the difference between poor and
exceptional IT companies.
When we decided we needed to make the change I spoke to a
good friend…and he recommended Vigo IT to us. From
our first contact to a meeting the following week and
despite all the issues surrounding the Covid pandemic Vigo
IT were exceptional to work with, did exactly what they
advised they would and could do for us and have been
exceptional ever since.
Vigo upgraded our mail server from SBS 2011 to Server 2019
with the absolute minimum of disruption, worked with us to
enable to upgrade and migration to take place…over a
weekend and have followed through and completed 100% of what
they advised the could do.
Finally, the service provided by their technical team is the
best I have experienced. The team are straight talking, do
not try to complicate work, explain the processes in simple
terms and could not have been more helpful throughout the
process.
Involve Northwest is a local charity based in Wirral,
delivering community-based support across a range of
commissioned services. We have grown rapidly over the last
few years, almost doubling in size to 94 staff members.
Vigo IT have been Involve Northwest’s IT provider of
choice since 2019, and even though we have a rolling
one-month contract arrangement with them, we would not
consider leaving them for another provider – they are
the best and friendliest IT team we’ve ever worked
with. Vigo are our ‘one stop shop’ for IT and
have supported us throughout our growth and helped us to
become much more efficient: managing our telephony services;
adding new users when we’ve had recruitment drives;
replacing and/or updating IT infrastructure such as servers,
hardware and software, managing our Microsoft 365 cloud
services; protecting our systems; training our staff and
dealing with remote and onsite problem solving. They also
prioritised and supported us quickly and flexibly during the
Covid lockdowns when nearly every one of our staff needed to
work from home, sourcing new laptops at a time when demand
was extremely high, enabling staff to work remotely so that
our service users experienced little to no interruption in
our services to them. We’ve also strengthened our
organisational security, with Vigo installing fob access
door entry systems throughout our building, allowing us to
restrict access to certain areas and to know at all times
who is in our building at any given time.
The respectful and down-to-earth communications with Vigo
are exactly what a busy charity like Involve Northwest needs
– they’re always there when we need them, they
don’t try to sell us anything that we don’t need
or won’t add value, they don’t try to confuse us
with technical jargon and are always approachable and happy
to help. It’s a great relief to be able to get our
tech sorted quickly and expertly and means that we can get
on with delivering vital support to our service users.
